Cleaning Dog Feces from Concrete Floor (How I Saved My Man Cave)

A four step how-to guide for cleaning dog feces from concrete floors to effectively remove stains and odor in minutes.

Remove and Clean It!

My 70lb lab is fifteen and a half years old and can’t always make it outside, which means a daily cleaning ritual in his and my favorite place, my garage.

Honestly, I don’t mind a little cleanup after a lifetime of slobbery kisses and his undivided attention. Unfortunately, his waste was staining the unsealed concrete. I used bleach and other harsh chemicals, but nothing worked and my man cave smelled like a high school locker room.

My go to product is Stain & Odor Remover. It helps me remove any trace of the accident without leaving a residue or unnatural scent behind.

 Here’s my process:

Step 1: Remove as much of the pet waste as possible
Clean up the surface of the area as best you can before going to battle with the deeper-set stain.

Step 2: Saturate the area with Skout’s Honor Stain & Odor Remover.

Step 3: Allow the cleaner to work its magic for a couple of minutes

Grab yourself a drink or snack while you wait, or, if you’re particularly unlucky today, clean a nearby urine stain.

Step 4: Wipe away with clean rag or paper towel.

Repeat until the paper towel comes up clean.

Step 5: Keep area well ventilated and allow to air dry.

The next day:

With this short process, you’ll have a stain-free, odor-free floor in around 10 minutes.

I love my dog, I love my garage, I love this stain remover, and at this point I can’t have one without the others.
