We have a Golden Retriever (Tucker) with skin sensitivity. After one wash and condition, he looks amazing. He isn't itching, his fur is easier to comb, and he doesn't seem to be matting as much. I love the scent(Honeysuckle) and the deodorizer is wonderful too. It smells amazing and so does Tucker. I will be a dedicated Skout's Honor customer from here on out! Tucker and I both thank you for the wonderful products!
Not good. How often can I bath Duke (9) mo. old. Itching was better a couple of days and bad again now. He is on Avantix plus and have never saw. Flea
Hi Barbara, I'm so sorry to hear that. Although many of our customers see instant results, sometimes it will take some pets 2-4 weeks of consistent use for the skin to restore. Here are some simple tips to help achieve the best possible results for your pup! For healthy animals, the recommended washing interval is once every 2-4 weeks. However, you may feel free to wash as often as you like, because the probiotic kefir supports the skin’s natural biome and doesn’t disrupt it. For animals with chronic skin issues, it is best to bathe the animal once every 3 days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. We highly recommend using a daily-use product, like Daily-use Probiotic Deodorizer or Daily-use Probiotic Detangler. The daily-use products will provide a much needed boost of probiotic to those trouble spots. You are fine switching to a monthly or bi-monthly routine once the skin has normalized. Diluting can make it much easier to spread and lather throughout the coat and rinse out, plus it is super easy to do. Simply pour roughly 1 FL.OZ. (one shot-glass full) per 20-pounds of doggie into an old water bottle or dilution bottle (available on our website!) and top off with water. Don’t worry about over diluting, as long as the entire contents of the bottle get on the animal you’ll be just fine. Message into the skin with both hands for up to 2-minutes and rinse out. Hope that helps and let me know if you are still not seeing results in a week or two! We are here to help!
It seemed like it was going to be good, but he is breaking out again with his scores. I have given him several baths and was using the daily spray. So disappointed. I even orded a sample pack, thinking it was doing good.
First time I used way to much on my dog. It’s really is think and needs to be watered down but wow it did an excellent job on my dog. The deodorizer I find it difficult to actually place it on the skin. But it did help a spot where he’s been scratching and had a small raw spot. I will difinerly buy some more when I need it.
