Itchy Dog Kit
A premium grooming experience designed to support your pet's natural defenses for a healthier-looking and less itchy pet.
About This Product
For healthy animals, the recommended washing interval is once every 2-4 weeks. However, you may feel free to wash as often as you like, because the probiotic kefir supports the skin’s natural biome and doesn’t disrupt it. For animals with chronic skin issues, it is best to bathe the animal once every 3 days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. You are fine switching to a monthly or bi-monthly routine once the skin has normalized.
Itch Relief Spray
Daily-use will provide a much needed boost of probiotics to those trouble spots in between bathing.
Calming, soothing and hydrating itchy, irritated skin with long-lasting relief.
What People Have to Say
My dog suffered greatly with itching. We took her to the vet and they prescribed medicine. That worked but she had to have 1/2 pill every day. I can't remember how I heard about Skouts Honor, but I checked it out and decided to risk the $35 as opposed to the $50 plus for the medicine. The 1st bath was terrific. She stopped scratching almost entirely. I did use the spray just once and that helped the return of a minor itch. It was about 2 weeks and she started to itch pretty bad again so I bathed her again yesterday. By this morning the itch was gone again. I hope these results will continue, but I can't imagine why they wouldn't
Hi Bill, This is so great to hear! It can take up to four weeks for the skin and coat to restore. Here are some best practices for pets with chronic skin issues: Bathe your dog once every three days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. Once the skin has normalized you can switch to a monthly or bi-monthly bathing routine. Apply the Itch Relief spray as often as you need to continue to promote good bacteria growth in between baths. All the best, Susie
I am a newby. By dog is a Yorkie-Poo 14.6 pounds of high energy, and sometimes, I think some of her scratching is excitement. She doesn't have hair loss, or red skin, and she doesn't scratch for more than 15-20 seconds. I think the product is helping. The shampoo seems to be good too.
My greater Swiss mountain dog has always had an issue chewing on himself. After his bath with this shampoo he hasn’t been chewing. It’s the first thing I’ve tired that has worked and I’ve tried so many things. Very very excited!
He is still licking his feet but if I use the spray daily it seems to help.
Hi Vicki, I'm happy to hear that the Itch Relief is helping with the licking. How long have you been using the Probiotic Shampoo + Conditioner and how frequently? Paw soaks can also help with the licking. This can be done during or in between baths. Thank you, Susie
After using this shampoo, Scooter has stopped scratching and licking. It literally worked the first time! And he still isn’t scratching after two weeks. I haven’t had to use the spray yet. Very pleased!
