The amount of Water Additive is based on the amount of water in the bowl, not your pet’s size. For an average 2.5 cup bowl of water, add 1 capful (20 mL). For smaller bowls, use half a capful and adjust the amount based on the amount of water provided.

Our Peanut Butter & Bacon Water Additive does not require brushing to be effective. With daily use, existing tartar can soften, making it easier to remove through mechanical action. While brushing can still be used alongside the Water Additive as part of your pet’s dental care routine, it is not necessary.

With daily use, your pet will most likely have noticeably fresher breath within a week or less. A reduction in plaque and tartar can take around 60 days.

Our Peanut Butter & Bacon Water Additive uses coactiv+® technology to help reduce plaque from hardening into tartar. With daily use of our Oral Care products, existing calcified tartar can soften, making it easier to remove through mechanical action such as the wiping action from the Dental Wipes, kibble, toys, or brushing.

Our Peanut Butter & Bacon Water Additive is safe for cats when used as directed. It's a great option for households where pets share the same water bowl.

The flavors in our Water Additive contain plant-based and naturally derived ingredients designed to mimic peanut and bacon flavors without using the actual ingredients. There are no peanuts in the Peanut Butter flavor and no meat in the Bacon flavor.
