Accessibility Support

Every pet parent should be able to shop, learn, and reach us on skoutshonor.com. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, and other assistive technology. We are committed to making our website work for everyone, and we are transparent about where we are in that work.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, as our guide for how the site should look, read, and behave. These guidelines are the widely accepted benchmark for accessible web content. We review the site against them on a regular schedule and fix issues as we find them.

Regular reviews. We run an accessibility review of the pages you use most (home, search, product pages, cart, checkout, contact, and store locator) every quarter, using automated testing tools and hands-on checks with a keyboard and a screen reader.

Fixing what we find. Accessibility issues are treated like any other bug that stops a customer from getting something done. They go into the same queue, with the same priority.

Building it in. The people who design and develop our website are trained on accessible design and development, so new pages and features start out accessible instead of being patched later.

Working with our partners. Some parts of our site come from partners we trust: our store locator, our contact forms, customer reviews, and checkout. We work with those partners to make sure their tools work with assistive technology, and we tell you on our progress page when something is still in process.

Listening. The most useful information we get comes from people using the site. If something is not working for you, we want to hear about it.

If any part of our website is difficult to use, tell us. We will work with you to get you what you need and use what you share to make the site better for the next person.
