No, our Urine & Odor Destroyer is not an enzymatic cleaner. Instead, the formula consists of a surfactant, Bio-Kore® technology, and a molecular deodorizer that work together to effectively break down and lift away stains, while eliminating odors at the source. It works quickly, doesn’t require pretreatment, won’t expire, and isn’t affected by temperature.
Does Urine & Odor Destroyer disinfect surfaces?
Our Stain & Odor products, including the Urine & Odor Destroyer, are designed to effectively remove pet messes, but they are not formulated to disinfect surfaces.
Can I use the Urine & Odor Destroyer in my carpet cleaning machine?
While the Urine & Odor Destroyer can be used in a carpet machine, increased sudsing may occur. Dilute according to the manufacturer’s instructions. We recommend doing a thorough pass through with only water after in order to extract any remaining cleaner from the carpet.
I followed the instructions, but the stain or odor is still there. What should I do?
You may still be experiencing stains or odors because the cleaner is lifting a heavily soiled area or an older stain that has penetrated deep within the surface. This means the cleaner is working; however, multiple applications may be needed. Extraction is key, so we recommend using a wet vac or a highly absorbent cloth on more porous surfaces to remove as much excess moisture as possible.
