    FAQs

How much Water Additive should I add to my pet's water bowl?

The amount of Water Additive is based on the amount of water in the bowl, not your pet’s size. For an average 2.5 cup bowl of water, add 1 capful (20 mL). For smaller bowls, use half a capful and adjust the amount based on the amount of water provided.

Does the Fresher Breath Flavorless Water Additive replace brushing my pet’s teeth?

Our Fresher Breath Water Additive does not require brushing to be effective. With daily use, existing tartar can soften, making it easier to remove through mechanical action. While brushing can still be used alongside the Water Additive as part of your pet’s dental care routine, it is not necessary.

How long does it take to see results from the Fresher Breath Flavorless Water Additive?

With daily use, your pet will most likely have noticeably fresher breath within a week or less. A reduction in plaque and tartar can take around 60 days.

How does the Fresher Breath Flavorless Water Additive work?

Our Flavorless Water Additive uses coactiv+® technology to help reduce plaque from hardening into tartar. With daily use of our Oral Care products, existing calcified tartar can soften, making it easier to remove through mechanical action such as the wiping action from the Dental Wipes, kibble, toys, or brushing.

Can Fresher Breath Flavorless Water Additives be used for cats?

Our Fresher Breath Flavorless Water Additive is safe for cats when used as directed. It's a great option for households where pets share the same water bowl.
