    Pet Balm for animals

VERY hard to get it to soften up. I put the container between a heating pad to try to get it to soften and it didn’t do much unfortunately. I’ll have to cut a chunk off and try to soften it.

    Hi Melissa,

Thank you for your feedback! Our Prebiotic Pet Balm does initially have a harder consistency and this is to ensure that the balm doesn't melt during transit. We recommend first breaking the surface of the balm by applying pressure with your thumbs. Then rub a small amount of balm between your fingers before applying it to the desired area. We have since updated our formula so keep an eye out.

    Kind Regards,
    Susie

Hard to get out of the tin but worth it.

My dog is getting older and i thought her dry, cracked nose was permanent. Then my husband bought this balm for her and within two days her nose started to get cold and wet again like a normal dog! I am blown away. Thought the balm would help make her nose softer but not much else. Like other reviewers have said, the balm is hard to get out of the tin but i just scrape some out with the back of my thumb nail and apply it to my dog's nose. It really stays on there and she can't lick it off. I would say it's still worth the money spent if your dog really needs some help with their nose.

    Hi Maria,

Thank you for giving our Prebiotic Pet Balm a try! This product does have a harder consistency and this is so that it doesn't melt during transit. We recommend breaking the surface of the balm by applying pressure with your thumbs. This will help with the application process. Then rub a small amount of the balm (a little bit goes a long way) between your finger before applying it to the desired area. We have since updated our formula so keep an eye out!

    Kind Regards,

    Very firm

This balm is very firm, hard to apply. Once you dig some out and warm it up in your hand it is nice on the paws.

Best stuff for your dogs pads

This balm is the best stuff for keeping your dogs pads healthy and in great shape. It is also a great way to get your dog accustomed to having their pads & toes held and massaged. Work the balm around in the disk and/or your fingers to make it softer and then I apply it very liberally all over the pads. I apply it at least once a week and more depending on where & what our dogs have been up too. After a couple applications you’ll be amazed at the improvement and health of your dogs pads. Don’t forget to apply it to the dewclaw and patterns as well.
