FAQs

Can I use the Skunk Odor Eliminator on fabric and clothing?

Yes, the Skunk Odor Eliminator can be used on most fabrics and clothing. Saturate the affected fabric, let the product sit for about 5 minutes, then wash as usual with your regular detergent and fabric softener. Avoid using the Skunk Odor Eliminator on natural materials such as leather, wool, or silk, and spot test before use.

Can I add the Skunk Odor Eliminator to my washing machine?

While the Skunk Odor Eliminator is not formulated to be added directly to the washing machine, it can be applied directly to the affected clothing before washing. For use directly in the washing machine, we recommend our Laundry Booster, which works well to help remove stubborn odors from clothing and other washable fabrics. We recommend spot testing a small, inconspicuous area before full application.

I used the Skunk Odor Eliminator, but I can still smell the skunk odor. What should I do?

While the Skunk Odor Eliminator will effectively remove skunk odor from your pet, skunk spray can unfortunately be very stubborn and multiple applications is not uncommon, depending on your pet's size and the severity of the spray, and affected surface.
